Promotional Terms and Conditions

TERMS:

These terms and conditions comprise Part 1, which sets out important information about the promotion, and Part 2, which details the prizes. Parts 1 and 2 are collectively referred to as the “Conditions”. By participating in the promotion, entrants agree to be bound by the Conditions. Entries must comply with the Conditions to be valid.

ENTRY ELIGIBILITY:

Entry Criteria

Entry is open to members of the public who:

(i) Are not current students of Pre Uni Victoria Tutoring; and

(ii) Attend a trial lesson at Pre Uni Victoria Tutoring or online with Pre Uni Victoria Tutoring no later than June 18, 2024.

(iii) A student is only entitled to select tuition in a subject offered at Pre Uni Victoria Tutoring and for the grade/year that they are currently enrolled in at school.

Parental Consent

Students under the age of 18 must seek parental or legal guardian permission before entering any competition.

Number of Entries

Entrants receive one entry regardless of the number of courses enrolled.

Number of Draws

There will be one draw held on June 20, 2024.

EXCLUSIONS:

In addition to any exclusions set out in the “Entry Eligibility,” employees of the Promoter, its related bodies corporate, and any franchise center trading under the “Pre Uni Tutoring Victoria” brand are not eligible to enter. Immediate family members of any employee mentioned in the previous sentence are also not eligible to enter.

PROMOTIONAL PERIOD:

The promotion commences at 9:00am (AEST) on Monday, May 18, 2024, and closes at 5:00pm (AEST) on Tuesday, June 18, 2024.

LOCATION OF DRAW:

The prize draw will take place at Pre Uni Tutoring Victoria, Suite 804, Level 1, Murnong St, Stockland Point Cook, VIC 3030, at 10:00am on June 20, 2024.

NOTIFICATION OF DRAW RESULTS:

All eligible prize winners will be notified by email and/or phone.

PRIZES:

The prize pool is valued up to $1500. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in the prize values. The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or injury suffered (even if caused by negligence) as a result of accepting and/or using a prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.

TRANSFERABILITY OF PRIZES:

All prizes are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash.

UNCLAIMED PRIZES & SECOND CHANCE DRAW:

Prizes must be claimed by winners no later than 14 days after the relevant draw date. All prizes unclaimed as at the expiry of 14 days from the draw on June 20, 2024, will be entered into a second chance draw. The second chance draw will be held on July 4, 2024, at the same time and place. The results of the second chance draw will be notified by email and/or phone.

DECISIONS ARE FINAL:

The Promoter’s determination regarding the draw is final and binding on all entrants. No correspondence will be entered into between the Promoter and entrants. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for late, lost, or misdirected entries or other communications. Entries will be deemed void if illegitimate, forged, manipulated, or tampered with in any way.

MINORS:

If a winner is under 18 years of age, the prize will be awarded to the winner’s parent or guardian.

VERIFICATION:

The Promoter reserves the right to request verification of age, identity, residential address of winners, and any other information relevant to entry into or participation in this promotion. Verification is at the discretion of the Promoter, whose decision is final. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any individual who is involved in any way in interfering or tampering with the conduct of this promotion.

RELEASE:

Before the prize is awarded, the winner and any other person(s) may be required to sign an agreement to release the Promoter from and indemnify the Promoter against any liability arising from the use or participation in the prize. Irrespective of whether an entrant signs a release, by entering in the Promotion each entrant is deemed to release the Promoter from and indemnify the Promoter against any liability, loss, cost, damage, claim, demand, proceeding, or litigation of any kind relating to the use or participation in the prize.

PROMOTION:

Entrants consent to the Promoter using their name, likeness, image, and/or voice in the event that they are a winner in any media for an unlimited period without remuneration for the purpose of promoting this promotion (including any outcome) and/or promoting any products manufactured, distributed, and/or supplied by the Promoter.

NO ASSOCIATION WITH FACEBOOK: This contest is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Facebook. By participating in this contest, you acknowledge that Facebook bears no responsibility for this contest.

RELEASE OF LIABILITY: By entering this contest, participants agree to release and hold harmless Facebook from any and all liability, claims, or actions of any kind arising out of or in connection with this contest.

NO ASSOCIATION WITH GOOGLE: This contest is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Google. By participating in this contest, you acknowledge that Google bears no responsibility for this contest.

RELEASE OF LIABILITY: By entering this contest, participants agree to release and hold harmless Google from any and all liability, claims, or actions of any kind arising out of or in connection with this contest.

PRIVACY:

Information collected from entrants will be used in accordance with the terms of the Promoter’s Privacy Policy which can be viewed at www.preunivictoria.com.au/privacy-policy Information collected as part of the promotion will be used for the purpose of conducting this promotion (which may include disclosure to third parties, for the purpose of processing and conducting the promotion) and for promotional purposes surrounding this promotion. By entering this promotion, entrants consent to the use of their information as described and agree that the Promoter may use this information, or disclose it to other organizations that may use it, in any media for future promotional, marketing, and publicity purposes without any further reference or payment to the entrant.

Part 2 – Prizes

Note: all prize amounts are stated in Australian Dollars.

The prize is free tutoring for Term 3-4, valued at $1500, for one student only. The student must choose from the range of subjects and class times offered by Pre Uni Victoria Tutoring. If no time or subject is convenient, the student forfeits the prize.
